I haven't had much time to blog, so I need to play catch up. My work took me to Onalaska, Texas on October 16 and on the way back to Houston, I had to go through Livingston, Texas. I stopped off at a restaurant near Highway 59, located at 2201 U.S. 190, in Livingston. I ordered my customary bacon cheeseburger, of course. What's cool here is that you can choose between regular bread, jalapeno bread, and sourdough. I went with the sourdough. I didn't have a long wait, however, waiting for my food, I had to change my drink because the Diet Dr. Pepper I ordered didn't have any fizz. I switched to tea. My food arrived and I began eating. The hamburger patty wasn't seasoned as well as I would've liked, but was juicy and good nonetheless. It was also plentiful as it overflowed the bread. My choice of bread was great as sourdough is starting to grow on me. The bacon was crispy and tasty. The fries were also good, but nothing to scream about. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being The Perfect Burger, I give City Grille an 8.
